Giant Aquatic Amoeba: Morpha

An ordinary amoeba, grown to gigantic size and given sentience and a humanoid form by Ganon, Morpha was placed in charge of the Water Temple. She prides herself in how clever she is, and uses the convoluted water-level system of the Water Temple to frustrate all who would challenge her, proving her superior intelligence and belittling all who would oppose her. In combat, Morpha prefers to goad her opponents into confronting her directly. Should her enemy fall for her taunting, she'll form her amorphous body into tentacles and seize them, crushing the life out of them as she toys with them, further mocking their stupidity. Should she meet a warrior wise enough to ignore her mockery and battle her from a distance, it would surely be her downfall.

Morpha is able to shape the liquid that makes up her body as she pleases, and can create a "body" for herself from any part of the pool of slime. However, this power is dependent on her nucleus, the red core floating inside of her. If the core is removed, she loses her ability to manipulate the her liquid form. She's still able to communicate with her core removed, though, suggesting the core emits some low-level psychic field.

Despite her position, she's considered the weakest of Ganon's generals. There are rumors that her trolling nature is merely a front, meant to compensate for her sense of inferiority.
